Written and directed by former artist, producer, songwriter and record label president, Steve Taylor, The Second Chance is a feature-length motion picture starring Michael W. Smith and Jeff Obafemi Carr. Set to release in theaters September 2005, The Second Chance motion will be preceded by the release of The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
With an inner-city setting and an emphasis on racial and economic harmony within the body of Christ the music of the film is by design quite diverse ranging from Gospel to rock with original instrumental scoring by Michael W. Smith providing a sort of musical glue that holds the piece together.
